The European Tissue Repair Society and the Wound Healing Society would like to invite you to Limoges (France) for the 5th Joint Meeting.
Limoges is a city rich in history situated on the beautiful river Vienne, with an impressive collection of ancient timbered buildings and a delightful central pedestrian zone. Limoges is the capital of the Limousin Region and is famous for its porcelain and its local cuisine. It hosts as well various enameling workshops run by artists of renown. Limoges is a medium-sized city encouraging walking, jogging by the Vienne, a relaxed lifestyle and has many enjoyable bars and restaurants. The local airport (Limoges Bellegardes) ensures easy connections, via Paris or Lyon, with many international destinations. Limoges is only three hours from Paris by train and is easily accessible via an extensive highway network.
The venue for the meeting will be the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences, University of Limoges, in the heart of Limoges close to the historical part of the town, and close to the hotels. This building offers numerous comfortable and well-lit areas for trade exhibits, several amphitheatres as well as smaller meeting rooms.
The Scientific Program Committee and the local organizers are working hard to make this a worthwhile meeting for you, both for scientific presentations and discussions but also as a social event. As usual, the meeting will allow useful exchanges of data and ideas between researchers in basic science and clinical practice.
Special attractions include young investigator awards sessions, best poster prizes and selected abstracts for oral communications which together with invited plenary lectures will make the scientific program attractive and your participation easier and more enjoyable.
Ten years after the Bordeaux ETRS/WHS joint meeting, we look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Limoges where cutting edge research on wound healing and tissue repair will be presented.
